Terms of Use
These terms apply to the ISW Check-In app, provided to the staff of It's a Sensory World ("ISW") for recording student arrivals and classroom safety checks. By signing in you agree to them.
1. Who may use the app
Only current ISW staff whose email is on the school's staff roster. Your account is personal to you. Do not share sign-in codes or let anyone else record checks under your name — every record shows who made it.
2. Accurate records
Arrival times and safety checks are part of the school's official records. Record what you actually observed, at the time you observed it. If you make a mistake, use the app's Change option — corrections are kept alongside the original so the history stays honest.
3. Student information
Information you see in the app about students is confidential school information. Use it only to do your job, and do not copy it out of the app, photograph it, or share it with anyone who is not authorized by the school. Attendance exports are for the school's records systems only.
4. Devices
Keep any device you use for the app protected with a passcode. If a device is lost or you leave ISW, tell an administrator so your access can be turned off. The app locks itself after an hour of no use.
5. The school's role
ISW decides who has access, what classroom each person is assigned to, and how long records are kept. It may change or revoke access at any time. The app is a tool that supports the school's safety procedures; it does not replace the judgment of the adults in the room or the school's emergency procedures.
6. No warranty
The app is provided as a free internal tool, as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but it may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. If the app is not working, follow the school's paper procedures and let an administrator know.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date above will change and staff will be told in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
